Accounting Intern

About the role

As an Accountant Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our finance department while gaining valuable hands-on experience. Process purchase invoices : From reception to handling and encodin g, you will ensure every detail is captured accurately. Encod e bank transaction s : Play a key role in keeping our financial systems running smoothly. Clear supplier accounts : Help maintain strong relationships by ensuring accounts are up-to-date and precise. Assisting with VAT declarations : Gain valuable insight into compliance and tax processes. Supporting general ledger entries and balance sheet accounts : Contribute to the foundation of our financial reporting with hands-on experience. You will collaborate daily with your direct colleagues: Alain (Finance Director) , Maggy (Accountant), and J a de (Accountant). You will also be in touch with all members of the Panda staff . You just finished your studies and you are looking for a short-term first experience. You are available for at least 6 months You are fluent in French or Dutch and have a working knowledge of English. You have basic knowledge of Excel and a desire to enhance your technical skills. You want to use your skills to participate to our mission and you adhere to WWF's values: Courage, Integrity, Respect and Collaboration. A paid internship contract of 6 months to a year (CIP/BIS contract) A flexible working environment : either from home with all the ad hoc IT equipment , or in our pleasant office in the heart of Brussels , easily accessible by public transport .
