Student Care Teacher Assistant (Part-Time)

About the role

Work Location: Bukit Timah Plaza / Thomson Plaza / Parkway Centre Work Days: Days: Monday to Friday During school term: shifts between 12.30pm - 4.30pm OR 1.30pm - 6.45pm OR 2pm - 6pm OR 2.30pm -6.30pm During school holidays: shifts between 7am-7pm Able to commit a minimum of 3 days per week for at least 6 months Part - Time Hourly Rate: $12-$13 an hour Job Responsibilities: Supervise students with their daily routines, including meal time, homework supervision, academic learning and recreational activities Provide care, guidance and support to primary school children outside of their school hours Assist the main teacher with classroom management Assist in organising and delivery of holistic programmes (both indoor and outdoor) Create a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment for students Fetch the students from school Accompany children home on the school bus after school Assist in other adhoc duties as required Job Requirements: Minimum GCE A level/Diploma in any discipline Undergraduates are welcome to apply Strong proficiency in spoken and written English Able to coach primary school subjects adequately Strong communication skills Genuine interest towards guiding and nurturing children Prior experience in student care and/or enrichment setting would be advantageous We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
