Title- College Aide (Undergraduate) The Bridges Technology and Analytics Unit seek to hire a College Aide to assist with building and maintaining custom dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI, creating custom SQL or Python scripts for data analysis. The selected candidate will participate in the development of our construction module of our proprietary Capital Project Management System (CPMS). In the development role the College Aide will shadow team members in requirements gathering, QA testing, and vendor management meetings. Our selected candidate will also have the opportunity to work in MS Project and our Project Web App environment, a browser version of MS Project to help clean, manipulate, and amend data. Typical duties required: Data review, cleaning, entry, and analysis in various systems. Report development including design and formatting. Participants in this immersive opportunity will delve into a dynamic professional environment, actively engaging in collaborative efforts centered around a substantial project or publication with specific task deadlines. This hands-on experience serves as a catalyst for the development of crucial skills that extend far beyond the academic realm. Participants will cultivate effective prioritization techniques, allowing them to discern and address key tasks efficiently. They will be exposed to time management, structured deadlines and be provided with a unique platform for the honing of data manipulation skills.
