Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! BASIC REQUIREMENTS: 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the fields of illustrative design, commercial art, fine arts, industrial design, visual communication, graphics adverting art, or related field; OR experience in the actual type of work in the appropriate fields; OR a combination of education and experience. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: At least two (2) years' experience on Macintosh computer systems. Knowledge of graphic design and layout, illustrative design, typography, printing procedures, and desktop publishing on the Macintosh platform. Knowledge of all common art media, reproduction methods, papers, inks, artist supplies, graphic art equipment, lettering and art styles, flats/mechanicals, and mock ups. Ability to produce products using desktop publishing applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Ability to develop advertisements, commercial print layout formats (e.g., newspapers, magazines, menus, digital media, brochures, T-shirt designs, logos, posters, flyers, and signs), and various graphic designs from verbal and written concepts/copy.
