Software Architect

Responsibilities

• Partner with the company Infrastructure team to provision servers and databases, and install, configure, and maintain the software required for application build and deployment.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment activities in accordance with company standards and best practices.
• Manage and support infrastructure-related activities across development, testing, and production environments, including upgrades, deployments, service restarts, and troubleshooting.
• Implement, maintain, and enhance monitoring solutions to ensure the stability, performance, availability, and observability of Trade platforms and environments.
• Drive automation of environment provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and operational reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to streamline software delivery processes and improve overall engineering productivity.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance release quality, deployment efficiency, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• The candidate must have minimum 8 years working experience in the following areas:
• Hands-on experience in DevOps tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Aldon)
• Development experience in Groovy, Python, Shell scripting, SQL
• Hands-on experience in Middleware IBM WAS, MQ, Jboss, Apache
• Hands-on experience in Oracle database
• Hands-on experience in Linux and AIX
• Hands-on experience in OCP / container-based technologies (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)
• Familiarity with Aldon or similar configuration management tools
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Relevant professional certifications
• Middleware -IBM WAS, IBM MQ, Red Hat JBoss EAP, and Red Hat JBCS
• Container Platform: Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
• Database: Oracle
• Operating Systems: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and IBM AIX
• DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, Aldon, and Remedy
• Programming Languages: Python, Groovy, SQL, Shell Scripting
• Enterprise Scheduler: Control-M
