Senior Accountant/Controller

Responsibilities

• Review of financial performance with supporting financial analysis, commentary and suggestions to improve performance of key financial and non-financial metrics
• Prepare consolidated reporting and deliverables
• Evaluate existing accounting processes to ensure accuracy/transparency of month end reported data
• Drive the monthly forecast process to ensure an accurate representation of expected future revenue and profit expectations are shown by country/client
• Support the europe budget process end to end
• Critically assess and provide support with commercial submissions/bids
• Provide feedback, training and support to regional finance teams as required
• Working on ad-hoc projects including new systems implementations, business acquisitions, cross border projects etc.
• Line management responsibilities of direct reports if applicable
• Focus on continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for process efficiencies and simplification.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable

• Key Requirements
• Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Strong excel and MS office applications experience.
• Confident individual with good interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels.
• Accuracy and high-level attention to detail
• Experience working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
• Substantial understanding of multi-currency environment, accounting principles and processes
