Responsibilities

- Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required.
- Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers.
- Client management - assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities.
- Strategic Thinking - provides advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients' objectives and business objectives.
- Knowledge management - ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is captured.
- Process improvement - Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or applicable bachelor's degree and or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant project management experience, specifically working with mechanical systems in the built environment.
- Strong organizational and management skills - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
- Background working in design or construction with a mechanical or BMS controls experience.
- AND/OR Background working in a vendor equipment factory supporting quality control processes of mechanical equipment.
- AND/OR Background working in commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment in mission critical data centers.
- Proficiency managing construction documents including BODs, specifications, contract drawings, C/D/E's, equipment submittals and RFIs.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, Project, Smartsheets, and other construction project management tools
