About the role

This a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. This a Permanent WG-5801-11 SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1195000 and is part of the MO Combined Support Maintenance Shop. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Army National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade - CW3 (W-3) with date of rank after 19 December 2024 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which demonstrates knowledge of equipment to be able to do routine jobs, simple preventative maintenance tasks, and able to use common tools and equipment in the line of work. WG-11 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have specialized experience which demonstrates your experience in diagnosing, repairing, overhauling and modifying interconnected complex systems on a variety of combat, tactical, commercial, special purpose vehicles and equipment. Experience must also demonstrate broad knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, and repair. Experience in the use of technical manuals, and maintenance directives and publications as they relate to repair and inspection of equipment. Experience which reflects accurate use of blueprints, schematics, diagrams, etc. Experience in production control, work schedule planning, development and implementation of procedures, interpreting technical data, etc.
