Project Site Manager

About the role

Lead and manage site execution activities for electrical engineering projects, including installation, testing, and commissioning works for MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, DCIS/HMI, and associated electrical systems. Supervise and coordinate site activities including cable tray installation, cable pulling, panel installation, cable termination, testing, and commissioning works. Manage site teams comprising supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and technical personnel to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements. Monitor project progress and ensure works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, risk assessments, quality standards, and contractual requirements. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution. Manage electrical interfaces with operational teams, conduct site meetings, and provide technical clarification on project requirements. Review inspection and testing plans, method statements, risk assessments, and commissioning procedures to ensure compliance with project and safety requirements. Perform site inspections and monitor QA/QC activities to ensure compliance with design documents, BCA requirements, and applicable standards. Investigate electrical system faults, equipment failures, and site issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Support testing and commissioning activities to ensure electrical systems are ready for operation and handover. Coordinate project schedules, resources, manpower, and subcontractor activities to achieve timely completion within budget and required quality standards. Prepare and review project documentation including progress reports, inspection reports, test records, certificates, and handover documents. Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and key information to senior management. Liaise with project teams, site personnel, subcontractors, and management at all levels to resolve technical and operational matters. Monitor site activities and coordinate between office and project teams to ensure effective project delivery. Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and promote safe work practices at site. Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager / Management team.
