  • Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience performing NESC inspections OR hands-on experience working on an aerial cable line crew .
  • Experience conducting wooden pole ground-line inspections .
  • Strong knowledge of OSP Construction Standards .
  • Working knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) .
  • Proficiency with computers and basic office software, including:
  • Microsoft Windows
  • Microsoft Excel (2003 or newer)
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Comfortable using the internet and web-based systems .
  • Strong communication skills , both written and verbal.
  • Proven time management and organizational skills .
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel on short notice.
  • Experience inspecting underground and buried plant in addition to aerial facilities.
  • Familiarity with mapping and GPS technologies .
  • Experience with mapping tools such as Microsoft MapPoint (2009 or newer) preferred.
  • Demonstrated construction contractor management or oversight experience.
  • Must be located within 2 hours of Billings or Great Falls, MT.

  • $30 - $32 USD
