Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is essential in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient service, and the development of the Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will predominantly work evening shifts and must be available to work weekends as required. Key Responsibilities Include: Oversee and ensure smooth, efficient, and professional daily operations of the restaurant & bar. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the property's food and beverage offerings to promote to guests. Collaborate with the kitchen team during service periods to ensure quality service, presentation, and guest satisfaction. Supervise, coach, and train Food & Beverage Attendants, fostering a high-performing team. Manage staff rostering, workflow, and service standards to ensure operational efficiency. Monitor and maintain compliance with RSA, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards. Assist with stock control, ordering, and reporting as required. Drive guest satisfaction, service excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. Shift Details (subject to change): Split shifts may be required on some days RSA certificate required Successful candidates will have: 12+ months supervisory or managerial experience in a similar role. 3+ years' experience working in a restaurant or hotel environment. Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate. Solid understanding of alcohol service (preferred but not essential). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude. High level of self-motivation, confidence, and leadership capability. Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualification (preferred but not essential). Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
