About the role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MATERIALS ENGINEER in the Materials Engineering Department, located within MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul)-Engineering of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes: 1) Supervising, managing, and technically directing materials engineering & industrial processes and resources; 2) Sustaining teams with appropriate administrative and technical processes, adequate resources, and fully trained and certified personnel that satisfy operational requirements; 3) Demonstrating knowledge and experience with budgetary/fiscal process and responsibilities, planning, execution and reporting; 4) Demonstrating knowledge of materials/industrial processes, maintenance concepts, and operational plans and their impact on logistics, fleet and production maintenance programs.
