Cloud Engineer

About the role

This is a client-facing delivery role focusing on Azure cloud operations and implementations. The engineer will perform daily cloud operations, participate in migrations, and provide administration support. The role requires implementing and maintaining cloud systems with automation principles, collaborating with solution architects, and engaging with clients to improve processes. The engineer will ensure compliance with performance, security, and maintainability standards while keeping certifications and technical skills current. What will you do? Execute daily operations and administration of Azure cloud infrastructure Ensure all configurations meet performance, security, scalability, and maintainability standards Implement automation in new projects using tools such as Ansible, ARM templates, Terraform, and PowerShell Maintain Azure cloud systems in an automated manner with documentation Collaborate with solution architects to provide technical expertise in operations Participate in cloud migrations using Azure Migrate for VMs and databases Support client discussions, operational meetings, and process improvements Maintain certifications and technical knowledge of market trends Manage issues and ensure resolution in compliance with SLAs Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, administration, and deployments Strong hands-on experience with Azure infrastructures and migrations Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Good collaboration, communication, and interpersonal abilities Team player with ability to support client engagements Solution-oriented and proactive mindset Azure Administrator or higher-level certification (required) Azure specialty certifications (preferred) DevOps, Database, or other Azure specialty certifications (advantageous) CKA certification or containerization expertise (advantageous) We are driven by our AEIOU beliefs-Adventure, Excellence, Integrity, Ownership, and Unity-and we seek individuals who embody these values in both their professional and personal lives.
