The Program Analyst supports the Wildlife Services Aviation Safety Center by coordinating and managing national aviation safety, training, reporting, and data management systems essential to APHIS aviation operations. Supporting program administration through projects, records, and systems management to ensure timely reporting to assist in auditing and investigations. Supporting administrative functions such as procurement, budgeting, and personnel processing. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in business administration, public administration, computer science or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., or a field of study directly related to the work of this position as described in the vacancy announcement. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify for that grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
