Location: Department: Warehouse JOB TITLE: Distribution Coordinator WORKDAY LEVEL: BASE RATE PER HOUR SHIFT: # OF OPENINGS:1 HOURS: (Starting times and hours may vary depending on coverage due to report-offs and the production schedule especially during holidays.) JOB SUMMARY/ JOB DUTIES: Directs and coordinates activities of distribution warehouse. Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory. Coordinates activities of distribution warehouse with activities of sales, record control, and purchasing departments to ensure availability of merchandise. General Summary The Depot Manager serves as the critical link between Distribution, Campbell Snacks Sales and the independent Distributors. Responsible for day-to-day Depot operations, while enhancing Distributor relations and providing thorough communication with Distribution and the Campbell Snacks Sales team. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES - Reviews bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders in order to plan work activities - Assigns workers to specific duties, such as verifying amounts of and storing incoming merchandise and assembling customer orders for delivery. - Maintain accurate inventory data into the warehouse systems. - Count and balance all inventory on a daily basis to ensure proper inventory levels. Properly and fairly allocate shortages and overages to IDPs. - Answer phones in a professional manner - Must interact with Customer Service/Planning and Transportation to coordinate any cuts, adjustments, credits and other issues daily. - Prints out orders for Bin Routes daily - Crosscheck/verify accuracy of orders built for shipment to BIN locations - Directs reclamation of damaged merchandise - Assist in the tracking and reporting in payroll - Prepares and maintains spreadsheets and data bases as necessary - May perform other duties as required. - Audit, adjust and break-down daily load shipments. - Distribute & bill products to IDPs based on their daily orders. - Issue stale/unsaleable credit to Distributors in accordance with company policy. - Create a positive environment in Depot at load times to support the engagement levels for our IDPs. - Account for/balance all daily shipments. - Manage Depot expenses, particularly labor & utility expenses, to control costs and adhere to budget. - Communicate IDP(s) information, questions and concerns to the management team in a timely manner. - - Report any depot repair work needed and arrange for the work to be done in a timely manner. - - Report any plant service or transportation issues (late trucks, product cuts, etc.). EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School diploma or GED equivalent; and 1 year of related experience or a combination of education and experience. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
