Revenue Accountant

About the role

Join our dynamic global Finance Team as a motivated Revenue Accountant! You'll work closely with our Senior Revenue Accountant, taking charge of daily and month-end revenue tasks. This exciting role offers the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams across the company. We're seeking a fast learner with a keen eye for detail, ready to dive into revenue recognition procedures and embrace a variety of tasks with increasing responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Review contracts, sales orders, invoices, and credit memos to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Reconcile key accounts-including accounts receivable, deferred revenue, and revenue- on a monthly basis .
• Prepare accruals and assist with monthly revenue analytics.
• Generate and analyze monthly revenue reports and to provide financial insights.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives through financial analysis and integration support.
• Assist with process improvements and Ad-hoc projects, as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (BS in Accounting/Finance or BA in Business, with Accounting/Finance concentration).
• Inter-CA or CA will be a plus.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• Familiarity with ASC-606 or IFRS-15.
• Good MS Excel skills.
• Very organized, detail-oriented, and hard-working. A roll up your sleeves attitude.
• Understanding of income statement and balance sheet accounts.
• Understanding the basis of accruals.
• Understanding the principles of account reconciliations.
• A team-oriented individual with good communication skills.
• Self-motivated. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Good to have:
• Hands-on experience with SAP , especially SAP Reporting or Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) module.
