About the role

You will serve as a PHYSICAL SCIENCE TECHNICIAN in the RADIOLOGICAL CONTROL DEPARTMENT of PSNS and IMF. SALARY GS-10: $77,643 - $100,931 GS-11: $85,307 - $110,905 FOR GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-10) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: monitoring and analyzing shipyard nuclear reactor plant maintenance or refueling operations to assess radiological control methods and procedures for deficiencies or non-compliance to radiological safety requirements and exposure control to recommend and implement corrective action. FOR GS-10: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
