Operations Executive

About the role

Operational Strategy and Leadership: Implement operational strategies that support the company's overall goals and objectives. Manage the day-to-day operations of the asset management firm, ensuring high levels of efficiency, accuracy, and service quality. Collaborate with senior leadership to refine business plans and strategies to drive growth and improve operational performance. Identify areas for process improvements and ensure the seamless implementation of enhancements. Operational Support: Providing support to key functions such as portfolio management support, client reporting, trade operations, fund settlements and proper custody of client money and assets. Ensure the firm's operations comply with industry regulations, legal requirements, and best practices. Optimise technology infrastructure that supports operational processes, ensuring it is aligned with industry advancements. Ensure that client onboarding, transaction processing, and reporting are executed efficiently and accurately. Process Optimization & Risk Management: Develop and maintain strong internal controls to mitigate operational risk and maintain compliance with financial regulations. Optimize workflows and systems for operational efficiency, including automating processes where possible. Assess and manage operational risk, including monitoring external factors such as market conditions, geopolitical changes, and technological risks. Support the implementation of disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies. Team Management & Development: Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture across operational teams. Encourage innovation, efficiency, and the use of technology to improve operational outcomes. Monitor operational performance, producing metrics and reports to track progress against goals. Client and Stakeholder Relations: Work closely with key clients to understand their needs and improve the operational service delivery. Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on operational matters. Oversee the preparation and distribution of client reports, ensuring they are delivered timely and accurately. Innovation & Technology Integration: Identify and implement new technologies and systems that enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. Ensure data management systems are robust, secure, and optimized for decision-making and reporting. Stay abreast of technological advancements and trends within asset management to enhance the firm's competitive position.
