Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- The role supports the TAS Digital Strategy through automation, scalable integrations and reusable components in alignment with Asset Digital Road Map, Data Lake strategy, Data Quality Standards and SEAM for SEAM Governance.
- Help evaluate data by leveraging Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence techniques enabling cross business insights
- Helps the business find the right answer to solve their business problems; determines feasible POCs contributing to process efficiency
- Provide integrated and automated technical reporting enabling simpler and efficient Reporting Landscape.
- Operational delivery:
- Build and orchestrate specific AI agents for TAS specific tasks using approved GenAI frameworks and enterprise orchestration patterns.
- Design and implement agentic AI workflows to automate TAS specific workflows, including data ingestion, diagnostics and reporting for TAS Use Cases.
- Integrate agentic solutions with enterprise data platforms (AIF, DAP, SDU, AMDP) to enable autonomous MI and DIY analytics within TRDI.
- Configure robust agent execution logic, including sequencing, dependency management, retries, exception handling and performance monitoring for autonomous runs.
- Develop LLM/RAG capabilities, including prompt templates, dataset linked responses, output validation, and guardrails to ensure accuracy and traceability.
- Drive continuous improvement (CI) by simplifying, integrating, optimizing, and automating technical reporting.
- Ensure compliance:
- Apply Responsible AI, security and data-handling practices and be a role model in ensuring compliance with Shell data and AI governance.
- What you bring
- An engineering degree in Computer Science or related technical field or Any Engineering Degree with a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Data Sciences.
- Agentic AI expertise: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and operating production grade agentic AI solutions, including multiagent workflows, orchestration, evaluation, logging, retries, and guardrails.
- Cloud & data engineering: Strong hands-on experience with Azure data platforms (ADF, Databricks/Spark), data lakes, data modelling, and building reliable, monitored pipelines integrated with enterprise data products (AIF, DAP, SDU, AMDP).
- GenAI & LLM quality: Proven experience with task oriented GenAI agents, RAG patterns, embeddings/vector search, prompt and version management, and LLM output evaluation with hallucination mitigation and traceability.
- Programming & engineering practices: Strong Python (preferred) and/or Scala, SQL, API/service development, automation, and solid software engineering practices (Git, CI/CD, unit testing); knowledge of Digital Twins, Power BI, MI/reporting, and Agile ways of working is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Asset/Plant Management and Standards, any prior experience of working in a Plant Asset / supporting an Asset will be an added advantage.
