Forklift Driver

About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join our Cairns (QLD) depot. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for someone with solid transport or warehouse experience who values safety, teamwork, and efficiency in daily operations. Permanent full-time role with stable hours (Monday to Friday). Competitive hourly rate - $33.13 per hour. Supportive and safety-focused team culture. Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load and unload pallets from trucks and containers.
• Move, store, and stage general freight for interstate and regional deliveries.
• Check load restraints, packaging, and freight condition prior to dispatch.
• Handle freight carefully to avoid damage.
• Report any freight or equipment damage immediately to your supervisor.
• Support a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

Requirements

• Valid Forklift Licence (essential).
• 2+ years' experience in transport, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Experience handling palletised freight (preferred).
• Good understanding of WHS and load restraint procedures.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods handling (desirable).
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
