About the role
Our client, a well-established global energy and shipping organisation, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Fleet Administrative Assistant to support its Fleet Management function within the Shipping & Operations department. Responsibilities
- Support vessel operating expense (OPEX) management and cost tracking
- Assist with accounting tasks, invoice processing, and financial documentation
- Participate in annual budgeting cycles and cost reconciliation
- Handle data entry, reporting, and basic analysis
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Strategy, etc.)
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth fleet operations
- Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or corporate admin roles
- Background in Finance/Accounting preferred
- Exposure to shipping, logistics, or supply chain is an advantage
- Is strong with numbers and highly detail-oriented
- Communicates clearly and works well with different stakeholders
- Is comfortable with routine, structured, and repetitive tasks
- Prefers a stable role (not focused on rapid career progression)
- Is resilient, reliable, and willing to go the extra mile when needed
