AECOM is seeking a High School Engineering Intern to be based in Omaha, Nebraska . This position is expected to begin ASAP. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: High School STEM Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the classroom and help to provide the student with experiences that will guide them in future career decisions. Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study. Support engineers with basic engineering analyses related to water resources projects. Assist in data collection, data organization, and basic data entry. Help prepare figures, simple maps, tables, and charts using spreadsheets and drafting or GIS software. Perform basic research on engineering standards, project locations, or environmental conditions. Support preparation of technical reports, presentations, and project documentation. Participate in team meetings and learn professional engineering workflows and safety practices. Minimum Requirements Candidate must be currently enrolled in high school, with a minimum of one year completed. Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required.
