About the role
You will play a key role in driving growth across an assigned broker portfolio by building trusted relationships, delivering tailored employee benefits solutions, and leading strategic sales opportunities. Responsibilities
- Contribute to individual sales goals while partnering with colleagues to achieve overall team targets.
- Develop and execute sales and broker engagement strategies in partnership with the Head of Distribution to grow your assigned portfolio.
- Provide timely and effective solutions to brokers and clients, including quotations, medical underwriting enquiries, follow-up on outstanding information, and other service-related requests.
- Build and maintain strong broker and client relationships by serving as a trusted point of contact and delivering a high standard of service.
- Independently lead strategic sales opportunities, particularly with large and complex clients, from initial presentations through implementation of new business.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive broker and client engagement activities.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to support successful business outcomes.
- Support business initiatives and projects as required.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree with relevant experience in benefits and medical insurance
- Valid IIQE Paper 1 and Paper 2 qualifications.
- Experience managing broker and client relationships within the employee benefits market.
- Strong understanding of global employer health products, conversion products, and the broader market landscape.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight deadlines.
