DfMA Project Engineer - Prefab MEP

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination & Execution
• Develop and implement execution plans for DfMA Prefab MEP production and installation.
• Coordinate design, factory, and site teams for seamless fabrication-to-installation transitions.
• Review drawings, technical datasheet, BIM models, and method statements for prefabrication alignment.
• Manage material procurement, logistics, and manpower planning.
• Manufacturing & Installation Oversight
• Monitor factory production for compliance with design specifications.
• Oversee site installation and integration with structural elements.
• Apply lean manufacturing and modular construction principles.
• Resolve technical issues, optimize methodologies, and support automation improvements.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Conduct inspections and collaborate with QAQC teams to rectify non-conformities.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, BCA, and safety regulations.
• Manage QAQC documentation, track inspections, and NCRs.
• Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
• Liaise between project managers, designers, and site teams.
• Participate in coordination meetings and prepare progress reports.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Qualifications & Experience:
• ✔ NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or a related field.
• ✔ BCSS certification.
• ✔ Min. 2 years' experience in construction project coordination, preferably in DfMA Prefab MEP.
• ✔ Familiarity with structural and architectural coordination is a plus.
• ✔ Fresh graduates are welcomed.
• Skills & Tools:
• ✅ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• ✅ Experience with IDD tracking tools (Novade, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.).
• ✅ Knowledge of project planning software (Microsoft Project, Primavera).
• ✅ Strong problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills.
• ✅ Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
