Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager, Senior located in Kettering, OH (Dayton, WPAFB) to support three programs on our EPASS GB contract. As part of the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate, the Stock Control System (SCS) is a web-based and mainframe wholesale and depot retail asset management system. It provides enhanced processing of stock control transactions and management information for Air Force and Marine Corps (USMC) operations. The system directly supports AF, USMC, and other service/agency customers. It provides worldwide combat readiness and sustainability for the warfighter through allocation, custody, and distribution of supply and equipment items supporting the full range of Air Force weapon systems such as F-35, F22, F-15, F-16, A-10, C-130, C-17, C-5, etc. The SCS FIAR RDT&E efforts are focused on modernizing and improving this Air Force capability. The Acquisition and Due-In System (ADIS) is an unclassified legacy mainframe system. It provides a single repository of information for items centrally procured at the Air Logistics Centers (ALCs). ADIS maintains and processes data for contracting and procurement requirements activities from Purchase Request (PR) initiation (pre-award) through the contract lifecycle to closeout (post-award),and maintains historical data on stock numbered items. As a Program Manager, Senior your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of acquisition programs; Knowledge of support activities that assist the program manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines and be able to recommend viable solutions to problems as well as the pursuit of alternative courses of action; Abilities to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation, e.g., briefings, documents, and plans; Abilities to plan, research, analyze and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment; Abilities to formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule and performance objectives; Abilities to support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports, e.g., Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) or Monthly Activity Report (MAR); Abilities to support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) reviews; and, Abilities to support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
