Responsibilities

- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to promote a strong safety culture
- What You Bring
- Enrollment in a post-secondary Co-op program in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (preference for senior students)
- Strong interest in health, safety, and/or environmental programs
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong technical writing ability for an adult learning audience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint

- This role operates in an active mining and industrial manufacturing environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in:

- An environment requiring frequent walking, standing, and use of stairs
- Multi-level plant structures with open-grated stairs and elevated platforms
- Outdoor work areas including an open pit mine and construction zones

- Ability to safely navigate uneven terrain and industrial environments
- Comfortable working at heights and on stairs/platforms
