The Associate Director, Data Intelligence & Transformation is a company-wide leadership role responsible for shaping and advancing the enterprise data intelligence, business insight, and transformation agenda across AA China. This role partners with senior leaders across Commercial, Medical, Marketing, AMI, Finance, HR, BTS, and other corporate functions to identify high-value opportunities, translate strategic priorities into scalable solutions, and accelerate adoption of data-driven and digitally enabled ways of working. The role leads cross-functional transformation initiatives spanning insight generation, performance enablement, process optimization, governance, operating model design, and capability building. The incumbent is expected to combine strong business acumen, analytics and AI expertise, and change leadership to drive measurable business value, strengthen decision quality, and embed sustainable transformation mechanisms across the company. As a senior leader in the transformation agenda, this role influences prioritization of enterprise analytics, BI, digital, and AI initiatives; establishes strong governance and scalable operating mechanisms; and helps the organization convert data and intelligence into business outcomes at scale. Key Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Enterprise data intelligence and transformation strategy 35% Lead the development and continuous refinement of the company-wide data intelligence and transformation roadmap, translating strategic priorities into a focused portfolio of high-value analytics, digital, and AI-enabled initiatives. Partner with senior leaders across functions to identify enterprise priorities, critical business questions, and scalable opportunities for data-driven transformation. Shape and maintain a prioritized portfolio of analytics, BI, digital, and AI use cases aligned with business strategy, resource availability, and value potential. Drive business case development, value articulation, and success measurement frameworks for enterprise transformation initiatives. Advise leadership on emerging opportunities in analytics, automation, and AI that can strengthen decision quality, productivity, and organizational effectiveness. 2. Cross-functional business partnership and solution portfolio leadership 30% Serve as a strategic partner to business and functional leaders by translating complex business challenges into practical, scalable solutions and ensuring effective deployment and adoption across the enterprise. Partner with Commercial, Medical, Marketing, AMI, Finance, HR, BTS, and other functions to define requirements, clarify success measures, and align solutions with strategic and operational needs. Oversee the end-to-end portfolio of dashboards, analytical products, intelligent applications, and transformation initiatives, ensuring scalability, usability, and sustainability. Guide solution design, pilot deployment, rollout planning, and business adoption to maximize value realization and minimize fragmentation across functions. Monitor portfolio performance, adoption, and impact, and drive iterative enhancements based on business feedback, operating realities, and evolving enterprise priorities. 3. Governance, operating model, and risk management 20% Establish governance mechanisms and sustainable operating models to ensure enterprise solutions are compliant, scalable, well managed, and able to deliver consistent business value over time. Define and strengthen governance processes for prioritization, design authority, data usage, lifecycle management, and value tracking across enterprise solutions. Partner closely with BTS, Compliance, Legal, and relevant control functions to ensure responsible, secure, and compliant solution deployment and usage. Establish monitoring and escalation mechanisms to track performance, identify risks early, and drive timely corrective actions or design improvements. Ensure operating models, documentation, and ownership structures are in place to sustain adoption and reduce dependency on one-off project support. 4. Change leadership and capability building 15% Drive enterprise adoption of data-driven and digitally enabled ways of working by building organizational capability, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and embedding transformation into day-to-day operations.
