Apex Companies is currently seeking an Industrial Hygienist - Scientist II to join our team out of our Iselin, NJ office. This is a field-heavy role that includes a blend of traditional industrial hygiene and building sciences work, with responsibilities spanning exposure monitoring, environmental sampling, and indoor environmental quality assessments across a variety of project sites. Your Responsibilities as an Industrial Hygienist: Conduct personal exposure monitoring and noise dosimetry Assist with development of personal exposure sampling plans Collect noise, water, air, and/or building material samples. Gather, analyze, and interpret data Prepare draft technical reports Industrial Hygiene Assessments of Chemical and Noise Exposures Indoor Environmental Quality Air Monitoring Building Materials Sampling Water Intrusion and Mold Assessments Moisture mapping Visible suspect biological growth assessments Mold sampling and clearance protocols Asbestos Abatement Asbestos sampling Asbestos abatement project oversight Lead-Based Paint Inspections Lead sampling Clearance t esting Assist with project oversight.
