Posted Job Title Clinical Research Coordinator C Job Profile Title Clinical Research Coordinator C Job Description Summary Penn's Center for Neuroengineering & Therapeutics(CNT) is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator C to participate in a collaborative research group focused on developing new devices, diagnostics and treatments that can restore brain and nervous system function after it has been lost to disease or disability. The CNT brings together clinician scientists and engineers to effectively bring these critical technologies to patient care. The ideal candidate will have an interest in biomedical research, be enthusiastic and highly motivated to participate in team science, have strong computing skills, and experience in machine learning methods. This position offers the opportunity to participate in an innovative research environment, gain hands-on experience with a variety of data analysis techniques, learn about the neuroscience of epilepsy and other neurological disorders, and make critical contributions to primary research publications and grant proposals, including publishing as first author where appropriate. Position contingent upon funding. Job Description Position responsibilities are to provide programmatic support for the Center for Neuroengineering and Therapeutics. Correspond with the IRB and manage protocols including drafting initial submission documentation, modifications, continuing reviews, and audits, 2) Coordinate research activities with collaborating institutions, including collecting, uploading, processing data from multiple clinical sites, and establishing Data Use Agreements with external collaborators, 3) Maintain REDCap database and reports, 4) Create SOP and guidance documentation to assist in onboarding new students, staff and collaborators 5) Support screening, recruiting, and consenting patients to participate in Epilepsy and Neuroengineering research studies at Penn 6) Aid in collecting data, placing wearable and other devices at bedside and assisting with patient-interactive software and hardware devices, 7) Attend research and clinical conferences/meetings at Penn and with external collaborators. The CRC C would be expected to already have experience in these areas and be able to take on higher level tasks and supervision of less experienced staff immediately. Relevant experience includes signal processing of EEG and neuroimaging data, interpretation of data, generation of figures and tables, and manuscript preparation.
