Job Description The objective of LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI) is to support The LEGO Group in its strategic priorities by building a sustainable continuous improvement mindset across the company. The LEGO Continuous Improvement Director is part of the site's Leadership Team accountable of the success of Americas Manufacturing. The position is responsible for setting the Vision, in terms of Continuous Improvement, for the site according to the global strategy. Also leads all aspects of the local LCI team, coordinates resources, and provides mentorship to achieve objectives in the agenda and Continuous Improvement requirements. Core Responsibilities: Lead the implementation process of the site's strategy to synchronize global Ops direction in local activation plans. Define and implement a 3- to 5-year Continuous Improvement roadmap aligned with on-site operational strategies. Find ways to boost P&L impact by discussing and improving operational efficiency. Drive Continuous Improvement mindsets and behaviors across middle and senior leadership. Coach and challenge on-site senior leadership to strengthen continuous improvement capabilities. Ensure the operational excellence model "LEGO Continuous Improvement Assessment" is sustained and improved year over year. Develop KPIs and systems to track Continuous Improvement progress and support data-driven decisions. Sustain the global Continuous Improvement knowledge base and Continuous Improvement capabilities implementation in the site. Establish Continuous Improvement governance for project selection, prioritization, and alignment with business goals. Create, implement and continuously use global Continuous Improvement standards and feedback with improvement points. Participate in global Continuous Improvement networks and production wheels, to promote standardization and operational excellence. Sustain Continuous Improvement programs and tools, delivering positive impact to the bottom-line of the site. Facilitate frontline engagement via Gemba walks (Go-Look-See), Kaizen events (RIE/Blitz), and workshops. Lead and participate in benchmarking and best practice exchanges within TLG and local industry chambers. The main challenges are to: Facilitate discussions and activities at the Strategy Deployment level to improve resource usage efficiency. (Implementing tools, programs, structures, management systems, and approach.) Establish a balanced LEGO Continuous Improvement culture within a global organization aimed at bringing value, scalability, and flexibility. Do you have what it takes? Lean/OPEX/CI/Six Sigma experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience with Automation & Digitization within manufacturing. Experience operating in a Leadership Team, influencing and being a member of a strategic network. Experience in leading Manufacturing Excellence Systems. Experience delivering impact in P&L through Continuous Improvement initiatives. Ability to work and influence at senior leadership level. Ability to initiate and lead change and innovation, strong change management skills. Ability to apply change management techniques to move a Business Unit into new working methods and new mindsets Note: This position is based at our LEGO NL manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores.
