About the role

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the MATERIAL READINESS DEPARTMENT (N43) of CDR NAVAL SURFACE GROUP SOUTHEAST. GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience performing and serving as the N43 Material Readiness Department Operations Manager, technical expert and point of contact for Mayport Atlantic Fleet maintenance, configuration control and life cycle logistics functions except for the LCS variants. Experience participating fully in the management of the department and provides continuity in the oversight of maintenance availability planning, corrective maintenance on management, life cycle management, modernization planning, and executing funding processes for the assigned ship classes. Experience developing and maintaining effective working relationships with counterparts at Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) NAVSEA, U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFFC) and CNSL and their subordinate commands, Naval Shipyards and SUPSHIPs, support contractors and consultants, and other staff codes in matters pertaining to assigned ship's planned major industrial availabilities.
