Finance Manager Up to £65,000 p/a + benefits, including hybrid / flexible working Permanent Northwood, Greater London Hays Senior Finance is proud to be working in partnership with Denville Hall, who are looking to appoint a Finance Manager. This is a pivotal appointment where you will lead and deliver on financial aspects of their ambitious plans. Opened in 1926 as the 'Haven for elderly actors & actresses', Denville Hall has been providing care for actors and home to all members of the creative and entertainment industries ever since. Alfred Denville MP purchased the property in 1924 and opened it as a haven for actors in 1926. Denville Hall provides residential, nursing, dementia, palliative and short-stay/respite care. Care is delivered by trained professionals, with nurses and carers on duty 24 hours a day and residents' independence is central to the ethos. Their Centenary marks a major step forward as they create new assisted living accommodation, modern facilities and accessible gardens designed to support independence, community and wellbeing. Over the past five years, they have got planning permission to build two new buildings of assisted living accommodation in the grounds of Denville Hall for those in need of this. They have set up a Centenary Appeal to raise the money for this addition to their facilities, which will include new cafe, gym and rehabilitation facility, accessible cinema and landscaping the grounds so they are fully accessible to everyone. They are raising £13 million for the build costs for this new development and a further £13 million to set up an endowment fund to allow us to secure their future for the next century. The Finance Manager will provide financial reports and financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action. You will advise on investment activities and provide strategic guidance, whilst maintaining the financial health of the organisation. The successful candidate will manage finances for both the day to day and annual budget of the running of Denville Hall and also overseeing the budget for large capital project which is expected to start work in autumn 2026. The Finance Manager will facilitate the strategic and operational business plans, ensure the effective management of financial resources and support change and enable improvement.
