CNC Machinists - 1st shift

About the role

Position Overview: This position is responsible for setup and operating CNC production machines to manufacture parts to meet customer orders. Experience preferred. We offer a competitive shift differential for applicable schedules, along with overtime opportunities based on business needs. Job Duties: Maintain production equipment to meet customer orders. Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, material specifications, drawings, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting dimensions and tolerances. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufactures instructions; troubleshooting malfunction. Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Maintain production and quality records. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Skills and Knowledge: Basic math Blueprint reading Basic knowledge of G and M codes. Utilize various measuring gages. Attention to detail and communication skills, oral and written. Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years experience as a CNC machine operator Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications. Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications. Local Pay Range $20 - $27 USD
