The Vehicle Reconditioning Arbitrator plays a critical role in maintaining fleet quality standards and ensuring consistent, fair decision-making related to vehicle damage assessments and reconditioning costs. In this field-based role, you will serve as the subject matter expert in resolving disputes between branches, customers, and third-party vendors while ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT You support the resolution of disputes related to vehicle damage assessments and reconditioning costs across multiple markets You manage arbitration cases by applying company policies and industry standards to ensure fair and consistent outcomes You liaise with rental branches, reconditioning facilities, and third-party vendors to resolve escalated and complex cases You maintain quality standards through scheduled and unannounced site visits, auditing reconditioning work and documentation practices You receive and evaluate damage claims, conducting in-person vehicle inspections to validate findings and determine outcomes You assist operations leadership by documenting site visit results and delivering clear, actionable recommendations YOUR SKILLS MATTER Experience You have 5+ years of experience in automotive damage assessment, claims adjustment, or vehicle reconditioning Education You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and are authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Technical Proficiency You are proficient in computer navigation, including Microsoft Office Applications Soft Skills You demonstrate strong organizational skills, can multi-task effectively, and excel in professional communication Commitment to Excellence You are success-oriented and willing to take on multiple tasks Travel You are flexible and willing to travel domestically up to 65%
