Responsibilities

  • Prepare billing to business units and ensure:
  • Billing amount is accurate.
  • Billing invoice is released to business unit within agreed timeline.
  • Perform reconciliation to ensure all actual cost are recovered and in compliance with transfer pricing policies and guideline.
  • Attend and resolve business units' queries on billing of your ownership.
  • Prepare and post journals for recharge and collection into Oracle.
  • Ensure accounting entries input into Oracle within agreed dateline accurately.
  • Intercompany balance
  • Prepare Intercompany Statement of Accounts /Ageing report on timely basis.
  • Monitor collection to ensure ageing within 60days. Closely follow-up with business unit or business owner to ensure queries are resolve promptly.
  • Perform intercompany reporting. Closely monitor and follow up to ensure obtaining sign off from Head of Fin Ops and business unit within stipulated timeline.
  • Perform bank reconciliation of receipts within agreed timeline.
  • Maintain proper filing of records on timeliness basis. Provide records on billing and collection if required for audit or regulatory purpose.
  • Ad Hoc: to provide analysis, reports, and support to the internal management to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Minimum Job Requirement
  • Qualification
  • Bachelor or Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Internationally recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.) or working towards designation will be an added advantage.
  • Relevant Experience
  • At least 4 - 5 years' experience in related field
  • Other requirements
  • Eye for details, and strict in enforcing required controls and policies.
  • Good understanding in financial accounting principles and bookkeeping
  • Organized and prioritization skill. Ability to complete work on schedule.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Good team player with interpersonal communication skill.
  • Experience with Oracle is an added advantage.
  • Preferably Chinese candidate, with the ability to read and communicate effectively in Mandarin.
