Junior Construction Delivery Manager

Responsibilities

• 🛠️Monitor construction activities ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• 📊Maintain detailed site logs and escalate issues through structured reporting processes
• 🤝Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project communication flow
• 🗓️Support planning, sequencing, and delivery of construction programme milestones
• 🔍Conduct site inspections and assurance activities aligned with project performance indicators
• 📢Lead and participate in site briefings, ensuring key messages are effectively delivered
• 📑Organise contractor meetings, capturing outputs and tracking agreed actions
• ⚠️Identify risks and implement temporary measures to maintain safe progress
• 📈Assist in logistics coordination and collaboration with site-wide logistics teams
• 🎓Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
• 📜SMSTS or IOSH qualification essential for site-based responsibilities
• 🛠️Experience delivering construction projects within complex infrastructure environments
• 📊Strong understanding of construction sequencing and recovery planning
• 📝Ability to produce clear, concise, and informative technical reports
• 🤝Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• ⏱️Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• 🔒Experience in high-security or regulated environments is advantageous
• ⚡Nuclear experience beneficial or large-scale civil project background

This is a site-based role supporting construction delivery within the Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC (MEH) scope of works. You'll work alongside Construction Delivery Managers, ensuring safe, high-quality installation and progress within your assigned area. Relocation support may be available for those moving closer to Bridgwater.
