Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of workshop technicians, allocating work to ensure maintenance schedules and operational priorities are achieved

- Monitor workshop performance, productivity and housekeeping standards, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Recognised apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience in an HGV workshop environment, with previous supervisory or team leader experience desirable
- Strong technical knowledge of HGV maintenance, diagnostics and repair techniques
- Good understanding of DVSA regulations, vehicle compliance and industry best practice
- IRTEC HGV Inspection Accreditation is desirable
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop others
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high standards of quality and safety
- Competent IT skills with experience of workshop management systems and Microsoft Office
- Class C driving licence
- Welding and fabrication skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
