Responsibilities

  • Provide tactical scheduling support to ensure critical test systems are delivered on time
  • Coordinate, maintain, communicate, and present critical path schedules and schedule narratives to both internal and external stakeholders

  • Utilize ERP (enterprise resource planning), MES (manufacturing execution systems), and material requirements planning (MRP) systems to coordinate test rack builds and inventory
  • Assist in root-cause analysis for manufacturing issues, provide feedback to improve planning, and support development of streamlined processes between production and planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of manufacturing scheduling, planning or operations; OR 3+ years of professional experience with manufacturing scheduling, planning or operations in lieu of a degree
  • PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience managing manufacturing of electrical components/system (Electrical Panels, Harnessing, Circuit Board Fabrication, Electrician prefabrication, etc.)
  • Technical knowledge and skills in coding and computer applications (e.g. MS Office Suite, VBA, Smartsheet, SQL, Confluence, JIRA, Power BI, etc.)
  • Highly skilled at taking in large quantities of information and presenting it in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing
  • Understanding of lean principles, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement concepts
  • Familiarity with root-cause analysis methodologies and problem-solving
  • Awareness of NFPA, UL508A or similar codes/standards
  • ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to travel (less than 5% of role)
  • Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to meet major milestones

  • Pay range:
  • Production Scheduler/Level I: $78,000.00 - $95,000.00/per year
  • Production Scheduler/Level II: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00/per year
  • Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

PRODUCTION CONTROL SCHEDULER, COMPONENTS TEST (STARLINK): The Components Test (CTEST) team is responsible for developing and producing the test systems that validate satellite and gateway hardware for the Starlink program. The Production Control Scheduler will provide critical tactical scheduling support to the teams building and deploying test systems in a high-impact, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on coordination role that demands precision, foresight, and relentless focus on keeping complex production schedules on track. This role will orchestrate inputs across manufacturing, development, engineering, and supply chain to deliver test systems on time by maintaining accurate master schedules, proactively mitigating risks, and delivering clear daily priorities.
