Job Summary: The Onboard Media Specialist is responsible for overseeing the production, publishing, and quality control of all onboard media and communication across The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection fleet. This role ensures that all guest-facing printed and digital content, including video assets, reflect the brand's legendary service philosophy, refined aesthetic, and standards. Acting as the vessel's primary media, publishing, and videography expert, the Onboard Media Specialist delivers visually compelling, accurate, and timely communications that elevate the guest experience while maintaining consistency with brand standards. The position works in close collaboration with shipboard stakeholders and corporate teams to ensure seamless storytelling, flawless execution, and exceptional guest satisfaction. Essential Duties: Collaborates with the corporate Creative Services and Marketing teams to drive all onboard guest-facing communications- both printed and digital Design, create, and manage editorial content, including daily programs, menus, signage, promotional collateral, and digital displays, in alignment with brand standards Ensure consistency in tone, layout, imagery, and editorial quality across all onboard media platforms Proofread, format, and oversee printing of menus and publications in multiple languages, ensuring accuracy and elegance Manage publishing workflows using approved content management systems (CMS) and onboard publishing tools Support Corporate storytelling and brand initiatives by generating approved visual assets for internal and external use Maintain a well-organized, secure archive of media assets with regular backup Perform preventative maintenance on media, publishing, and videography equipment, report issues and track repairs to resolution Maintain accurate records, backups, and documentation of publications and media assets Assist in onboarding and mentoring shipboard publishing content specialists, videographers, and related roles as assigned Create Standard Operating Procedures, safety regulations, confidentiality requirements, and Company policies.
