Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Manage and reconcile US ghost/BTA accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
  • Supplier Billing: Maintain preferred travel supplier account billing by processing monthly incoming invoices from ground transportation, rental car, and hotel suppliers; conduct PO reconciliation to support Finance and Recruiting quarterly and year-end reporting
  • Credit Card Monitoring: Monitor US employee credit card declines related to travel items, adjust pre-charging when possible to avoid BTA billing, and advise employees on updating corporate card information
  • Complex Billing Support: Assist the Customer Service and TMC groups with complex US billing situations including employee and supplier payments, airline debit memos, agent error payouts, and HCP traveler reimbursements
  • Claims & Research: Manage US rental car accident claims and assist with travel booking research to validate US Faculty Resources HCP travel reimbursement claims
  • Financial Analysis & Processing: Conduct monthly financial reviews comparing forecasted budgets against actual expenditures; calculate travel bonuses, transaction fee rebates, and SLA penalties; process credit card and PO rejections
  • Compliance & Vendor Management: Verify hotel pharma compliance, collaborate on HCP reimbursement, work with preferred ground transportation providers, manage direct billing, and reconcile chauffeured car service accounts
  • Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with internal teams on Concur builds, support travel counselors with payment questions, and provide reporting support to analysts

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Billing, Finance, or Operations
  • Demonstrated expertise in reconciliation and financial processing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent vendor management and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-moving, matrix environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy with complex financial data
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

  • The US national base salary range for this position is from
  • $72,100.00 - $133,900.00
  • The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
