Responsibilities
- Financial Planning
- Develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts in collaboration with regional finance teams. Assist with consolidation of budget and forecasts.
- Create, maintain, and enhance financial models to support expense planning, headcount forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Evaluate business scenarios and quantify financial impacts to support decision making.
- Evaluate forecasted assumptions and update them as needed.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and ad hoc requests, including variance and trend analysis (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) with clear commentary.
- Monitor financial performance and operational efficiency against budget and forecast, investigating and providing insights into discrepancies, opportunities, and underlying drivers.
- Systems and Process Support (Workday and Adaptive Planning)
- Maintain and update Workday Adaptive Planning models, assumptions, and calculations used in budgeting and forecasting.
- Support data loads, reconciliations, and validation between Adaptive Planning and Workday Financials.
- Assist in improving planning workflows, system structure, and reporting efficiency within Adaptive.
- Support Finance teams during planning cycles and help maintain planning documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, or a combination of FP&A, corporate finance, and financial analysis
- Hands on experience with planning tools, Workday Adaptive Planning preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial tools such as Power BI, Visual Lease and Alteryx.
- Understanding of subscription-based revenue models and SaaS financial concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets, identify trends.
- Effective communication skills and ability to present financial information clearly.
