Finance Director/ Senior Manager (Revenue Recognition, Group of Entities)

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance function and provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
• Partner with business leaders to develop business plans, budgets, and financial strategies that support organizational growth.
• Drive forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes while ensuring forecast accuracy.
• Prepare and present financial reports, performance analysis, and management insights to support decision-making.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Monitor key financial metrics and ensure accountability for business performance.
• Review commercial proposals, contracts, and financial terms to ensure compliance with internal policies and business objectives.
• Oversee financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, month-end closing, and cash flow management.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage tax compliance, statutory reporting, audits, and regulatory submissions.
• Develop and enhance financial processes, internal controls, and governance frameworks to support business scalability.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Lead risk management initiatives and drive continuous process improvements across the finance function.
• Manage, coach, and develop the finance team while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Support succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic business initiatives.
• Perform other finance and business-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent).
• At least 5 - 8 years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounting leadership roles, preferably from technology, software, telecommunications, or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Hands-on experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business requirements.
