Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall finance function and provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop business plans, budgets, and financial strategies that support organizational growth.

  • Lead risk management initiatives and drive continuous process improvements across the finance function.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the finance team while fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Support succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic business initiatives.
  • Perform other finance and business-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent).
  • At least 5 - 8 years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounting leadership roles, preferably from technology, software, telecommunications, or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Hands-on experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for business requirements.
