Unilever is seeking a results-driven Packaging Maintenance Supervisor to support our high-speed packaging operations at the Hammond Dove Bar Factory. This role is responsible for leading packaging maintenance activities, developing frontline maintenance talent, and ensuring equipment reliability while upholding Unilever's safety, quality, and GMP standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, proven supervisory experience, and a passion for continuous improvement and winning. Job Responsibilities Supervise and support maintenance activities for high-speed packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment. Drive the preventive maintenance (PM) program for the packaging shop floor, ensuring planned work orders are executed effectively and tracked in an organized manner. Monitor, trend, and track equipment performance and reliability to identify corrective maintenance needs. Lead root cause analysis of breakdowns and equipment failures on packaging lines. Plan and coordinate annual shutdown activities, as well as weekly and monthly maintenance schedules, working closely with the planning and operations team to ensure sufficient downtime. Train, coach, and mentor a team of highly skilled mechanics, fostering a strong safety and performance culture. Work collaboratively with the parts storeroom, planning teams, and suppliers to ensure correct parts availability and timely ordering. Work cross-functionally with area owners and other maintenance supervisors to effectively plan and prioritize work orders to mitigate disruptions in production. Follow and enforce all Unilever manufacturing safety, quality, and GMP rules and regulations. Operate independently as a self-starter while providing leadership and direction to the maintenance team to resolve issues efficiently. Required Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience with a minimum of 1+ years of manufacturing maintenance supervisory experience. Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or relevant technical experience combined with prior military experience in lieu of degree. Strong working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as SAP or MS DMS. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
