Job Title: Locum Paediatric Early Years Complex Needs Speech and Language Therapist Banding: Band 6/7 Location: Hackney Start Date: ASAP Salary: £24.00-£30.00 per hour Working Hours: Full-time / Part-time Job Overview We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join a specialist Early Years Complex Needs service in Hackney on a locum basis. This role involves supporting infants and young children (predominantly under 5 years) with a range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), neurodevelopmental disorders, and eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia). The service is part of an integrated and collaborative model across health and education, delivering high-quality, family-centred care within clinic, home, and early years settings. The role is primarily based at the Hackney Ark Child Development Centre , with opportunities for community-based working. This role is ideal for an experienced therapist who is confident working independently within a multi-disciplinary team and is passionate about early intervention and supporting children with complex communication needs.
