Responsibilities

  • Accountable for providing care that is based on licensure/certification within the scope of practice .
  • Provides care in compliance with the patient's established Plan of Care such as:
  • Helps to maintain optimal hygiene and assists in maintaining a safe environment
  • May plan and prepare nutritious meals
  • Assists the patient with ambulation as tolerated

  • Submits required personnel file documentation in a timely manner
  • Adheres to FFHC compliance and ethics expectations
  • Maintains patient and family confidentiality
  • Maintains professional, supportive, and responsive interpersonal communication skills
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • ROLE QUAL IFICATIONS
  • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED
  • Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) with a State issued certification
  • 1 year of demonstrated experience
  • Must provide v alid and current CPR card/certificate that includes in person instructor led hands - on skills check.
  • Valid driver license with proof of insurance in applicable states
  • Must have a clear background screening
  • Clear Hep B Screening in applicable states
  • Clear TB Screening in applicable states
  • KEY COMPETENCIES
  • The ability to read and communicate in English both verbally and in writing
  • WORKING CONDITIONS/EQUIPMENT USE
  • Work is performed in the patients home - not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions . Training may be performed in an office setting.
  • Must be able to lift up to thirty - five pounds ( 3 5) pounds without an assisted lifting device.
  • Frequent use of office machines to include telephone, computer, and printer

Additional responsibilities include representing Family First Homecare + Universal Pediatrics and its services in a competent, professional, and responsive manner while maintaining standards of high-quality patient care and customer service in accordance with all state, local and federal requirements, rules, and regulations.
