- Strong leadership skills-managing teams, contractors, and budgets while maintaining HSE and environmental standards.
- Technical knowledge of PPM, asset management systems (e.g., HxGN EAM), and fault diagnostics to optimise plant performance.
- Excellent communication-liaising with operations, senior management, and external stakeholders (e.g., EA, local councils).
- Desirable
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., engineering HNC/HND, NEBOSH, or vocational training).
- Experience in waste-to-energy, ERF, or MPT processes with knowledge of industry-specific regulations.
- Project management background, including planned outages, modifications, or capital improvements.
- Health & safety certifications (e.g., IOSH, environmental management systems).
