About the role

We're looking for our next Credit / Accounts Receivable Manager - Americas to lead end-to-end AR performance across the region. This role will drive cash flow, strengthen credit risk controls, and partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Care, and Finance to resolve payment issues and improve overall receivables performance. This position is located in Queretaro Mexico .

Responsibilities

  • Lead AR and collections strategy across the Americas to improve cash flow and reduce aging
  • Drive performance against collection targets, including DSO reduction and overdue recovery
  • Assess and manage customer credit risk , including credit limits and exposure monitoring aligned with IFRS-9
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Care to resolve disputes and remove payment barriers
  • Oversee all AR transactional activities including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
  • Ensure strong controls, process discipline, and compliance across AR operations
  • Deliver reporting on aging, collections performance, and risk exposure to stakeholders
  • Lead, develop, and coach a team of 7, building a high-performance cash culture
  • Drive continuous improvement of credit and collections policies and processes

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or related field
  • Experience leading Accounts Receivable and Credit operations in a multinational environment
  • Proven ability to improve collections performance and manage credit risk
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales and Finance teams
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Strong leadership experience managing teams
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, multi-country environment
  • Familiarity with Treasury / Financial Risk concepts and tools (e.g., TMS systems such as Kyriba)
  • Supervisory Responsibility:
  • Team of approximately 7 direct reports
