  • Maintain supplier quotation records and pricing databases.
  • Develop procurement cost tracking and reporting tools.
  • Monitor historical pricing trends and supplier cost performance.
  • Improve procurement transparency through data analysis and reporting.
  • Risk Identification & Reporting
  • Identify procurement-related cost, compliance, and commercial risks.
  • Prepare periodic management reports and KPI dashboards.
  • Track corrective action implementation and effectiveness.
  • Escalate significant issues to management when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, cost analysis, supply chain analytics, contract management, internal audit, or manufacturing cost control.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Automotive, battery, energy storage, or industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Knowledge of procurement compliance, supplier quotation analysis, and commercial review processes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Mandarin bilingual capability preferred.

Procurement Cost & Compliance Senior Specialist Job Title: Procurement Cost & Compliance Senior Specialist Department: Supply Chain Reporting To: Director Location: Manteno, Illinois Position Summary The Procurement Cost & Compliance Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting procurement governance, cost control, pricing transparency, and compliance management across the organization. This role serves as an independent control function within the Supply Chain organization, focusing on supplier quotation evaluation, procurement compliance review, commercial term assessment, and Price Committee administration. The position does not perform sourcing or purchasing execution activities. Instead, it provides oversight, analysis, and governance support to ensure procurement decisions are commercially reasonable, compliant, and aligned with company policies.
