Our client is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join its growing credit and risk team. This role sits at the center of the lending decision process, responsible for evaluating financing opportunities, structuring transactions, and ensuring sound credit decisions across a portfolio of small and mid-sized business borrowers. The Senior Credit Analyst will partner closely with underwriting and risk leadership to assess borrower financial health, recommend loan terms, and help maintain a high-quality loan portfolio while supporting continued business growth. This role offers meaningful exposure to credit decision-making, deal structuring, and portfolio risk management in a fast-paced lending environment. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical professional who enjoys digging into financials, evaluating risk, and playing a direct role in approving and structuring financing transactions.

Requirements

  • Strong financial analysis and credit evaluation skills with the ability to assess borrower risk and repayment capacity.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret financial statements and identify key risk factors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in preparing credit memos and presenting recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making ability when evaluating complex credit scenarios.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with underwriting, risk, and leadership teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems is preferred.
