Liquid Personnel is recruiting Adult Social Worker - Learning Disabilities Team at Redcar and Cleveland What will your responsibilities be? Care Act Assessment - Complete strengths‑based Care Act assessments and reviews for adults with learning disabilities, ensuring eligibility decisions are clear, person‑centred, and aligned with statutory duties and best‑practice LD approaches. Risk, Safeguarding & MCA - Manage safeguarding concerns, undertake Section 42 enquiries where required, apply the Mental Capacity Act in complex decision‑making, and develop proportionate risk‑management plans that promote safety and autonomy. Support Planning & Multi‑Agency Work - Develop outcome‑focused support plans, commission appropriate services, and work collaboratively with health partners, providers, education, and community networks to enable independence, inclusion, and improved quality of life
